| Hey! I moved to Nashville. I love it.... yea!!! And... about the blog below, we are still in the running for next season! So we'll see. All around.... good things! | | |
| quick update... no news yet about the Amazing Race... logic tells me it's not looking good for us, but until I hear a fat lady singing, I'm holding on to hope Who knows, right? | | |
| So my friend Donald and I submitted an application a couple weeks ago to try out for the Amazing Race, and we got a call that we are semi-finalists!!! The woman I spoke to told me that she thinks our video application was fabulous, but she is afraid that the head of casting and producers may overlook watching it because they often don't consider relationships like ours (best friends)... that basically they usually go for the more complex/odd relationships. Anyway, she said she will personally push our video to be watched and considered and hopefully they will give us a chance. I am really praying for favor and just the Lord to remove the cards stacked against us, and just make a way... I have wanted to do this show for about 5 years now... not just for the show, but because I feel like it would be an amazing foot in the door to get into the media. SOOOO... please pray with me for miraculous favor!!! | | |
| i did a photo shoot of a little 4 month old baby and her parents yesterday... i love doing babies that age... they are just so cute and unpredicable aww...

| So I never thougt I would write a post solely about American Idol... but the day has come, and with good reason! I don't know who saw it, but last night the top 8 opened the show with an uncheesey, quality, and deeply heartfelt rendition of "Shout to the Lord"... honestly probably one of the best versions I have ever heard... I was sitting on my couch BALLING LIKE A BABY and still tear up thinking about it because it was so worshipful and so amazing to see such a beautiful expression from a secular platform... which is what I think struck me so much more then the execution of the song itself... Praise is powerful. Though the iTunes version is slightly different then the one aired last night, I encourage you to buy it... not only because it is quality, but because I think it is something we should support... especially since it is one of the songs that all proceeds go to the "Idol Gives Back" charity event thing. And with that, I will step off my soupbox and go back to cleaning. | | |
